About Apache Mesos
Apache Mesos is a cluster manager that is capable of efficiently handling workloads in a distributed environment with the help of dynamic resource sharing and isolation. Apache Mesos makes easy deployment and management of applications in large-scale clustered environments by sitting in between the application layer and the operating system. In Mesos, multiple physical resources are integrated into a single virtual resource. It is written in C programming language and was developed by the University of California, Berkeley. The architecture of Apache Mesos consists of a master daemon (which enables fine-grained sharing of resources), an agent daemon, and the Mesos framework.
